Since the opening of the new terminal in December
1994, Southampton International Airport has positioned itself
as the premier business airport for central southern England.
Southampton Airport offer the same customer service and quality
that would be expected in any major airport.
Southampton has its own dedicated railway station,
Southampton Airport Parkway. Fast trains run three times hourly
from London Waterloo directly to the airport station, and excellent
connections with cities in the south-west mean that more passengers
are appreciating the convenience of using the central southern
airport for their flights to Europe and beyond.
From Southampton Airport, business and leisure passengers
can reach 22 destinations directly, together with over 200 long
haul worldwide destinations via six key hubs including Amsterdam,
Brussels, Paris, Frankfurt, Manchester and Dublin.
BAA has invested £30 million in making Southampton
Airport one of Europe's most modern regional airports. These improvements
include a new duty and tax free shop, World Duty Free, three times
the size of the former outlet, with a far greater range of goods.
Southampton Airport has a business lounge for British Airways,
and Scot Airways' frequent flyers and has introduced electronic
ticketing, in co-operation with British Airways.
The Southampton Airport Fire Service conducts commercial

Lost luggage
If you lose items whilst you are at the airport, please go to
the information desk. If you discover you have lost items once

Postal services
There is a post box immediately outside the terminal. Stamps are
available from WH Smiths
Baby care room
There is a baby care room located in the main concourse, with
private feeding cubicle and bottle warmer. Contact the information
desk in the terminal.
First aid
The first aid room with adjacent accessible toilet can be found
by the arrivals exit in the main concourse.
Medical assistance
If you feel unwell please contact the airport information desk
who will arrange for a qualified first aider to take care of you,
or alternatively contact any member of staff to summon assistance.
Cash dispensers
There are cash dispensers located next to Travelex and WH Smith
in the main concourse.
